Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.

Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Use a flat bladed tool in order to remove the door jamb switch from the rear door hinge-pillar.

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Tape the wires to the body in order to prevent them from dropping into the rear door hinge-pillar.
