Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.
  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - IP ACCESSORY in INSTRUMENT PANEL, GAGES & CONSOLE article.
  3. Remove the radio mounting screws.

  4. Remove the radio.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector and the antenna lead.
