Installation Procedure

  1. Install the radio antenna cable.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.
  2. Install the radio antenna cable screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the radio antenna cable screws to 2.8 N.m (25 lb in).

  3. Install the radio antenna bezel.
  4. Install the radio antenna cable nut.
  5. Install the fender. Refer to FENDER REPLACEMENT - FRONT in BODY FRONT END article.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the radio antenna cable nut to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  6. Install the radio antenna cable to the radio extension cable.

  7. Install the antenna mast. Refer to FIXED ANTENNA MAST REPLACEMENT .
