Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to ENGINE CONTROLS - REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in Engine Performance
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the throttle body. Refer to ENGINE CONTROLS - REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in Engine Performance
  3. Install a 3/8 inch drive wrench on the drive belt tensioner arm and rotate the arm counterclockwise.
  4. Remove the drive belt.
  5. Slowly release the tension on the drive belt tensioner arm.
