Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Safari and 2003 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the power steering reservoir.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the power steering reservoir mounting bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the power steering reservoir mounting bolts to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  3. Connect the power steering reservoir to the power steering pump hose to the power steering reservoir.

  4. Connect the hydraulic brake booster hose to the power steering reservoir.

  5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to BLEEDING THE POWER STEERING SYSTEM
