Door Adjustment - Rear (Cargo Doors)

Important:  Door hinges on this vehicle are welded in place and the adjustment of this system is not recommended. However, with service bolt-on hinges, adjustment is possible.

  1. Loosen the left door striker first, and then the right door.
  2. Adjust the left door so that there is a 5.0 mm (0.196 in) 1.0 mm (0.039 in) gap between the door and the door frame at the top (1).

  3. Adjust the left door so that there is a 5.0 mm (0.196 in) 1.0 mm (0.039 in) gap between the door (3) and the door frame at the bottom (1).

  4. Adjust the left door so that there is a 5.0 mm (0.196 in) 1.0 mm (0.039 in) gap between the door and the door frame at the side.
  5. Adjust the right door so that there is a 5.0 mm (0.196 in) 1.0 mm (0.039 in) gap between the doors (2).

  6. Adjust the right door so that there is a 5.0 mm (0.196 in) 1.0 mm (0.039 in) gap between the right door and the door frame at the top (1).

  7. Adjust the right door so that there is a 5.0 mm (0.196 in) 1.0 mm (0.039 in) gap between the right door (3) and the door frame at the bottom (1).

  8. Adjust the right door so that there is a 5.0 mm (0.196 in) 1.0 mm (0.039 in) gap between the right door and the door frame (2) at the side.

  9. Adjust both doors so that the surface of the doors to the door frame and each other is flush within 1.0 mm (0.039 in).
  10. Adjust the door striker in order to hold the right door flush with the left door (1) within 1.0mm (0.039 in).
