Removal Procedure

- Remove the sunshades. Refer to SUNSHADE REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT OVERHEAD .
- Remove the necessary moldings. Refer to the following procedures:
- GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - REAR UPPER
- GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT SIDE DOOR OPENING FRAME
- GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT LF LOCK PILLAR
- GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT RF LOCK PILLAR
- TRIM REPLACEMENT THIRD PILLAR LEFT
- TRIM REPLACEMENT THIRD PILLAR RIGHT
- TRIM REPLACEMENT FOURTH PILLAR LEFT
- TRIM REPLACEMENT FOURTH PILLAR RIGHT
- Remove the right seat belt retractor. Refer to SEAT BELT SYSTEM in Seat Belts.
- Remove the dome lamp from the front headliner. Refer to DOME LAMP REPLACEMENT in Lighting Systems.
- Remove the sliding door track garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - SLIDING DOOR .
- Remove the coat hooks. Refer to COAT HOOK REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the front headliner from the roof panel by separating the retaining strips.
- With the aid of an assistant, remove the front headliner from the vehicle.
- Remove the 2 push-in retainers (4) at the front edge of the rear headliner (2).
- Detach the rear headliner (2) from the retaining strips (3).
- Remove the rear headliner (2) from the roof panel (1).
