Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the impact bar. Refer to IMPACT BAR REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER .
    CAUTION: Refer to Hood Hold-Open Device Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Raise and support the hood.
  3. Remove the screws retaining the windshield frame filler panel.
  4. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
  5. Remove the hood to fender nut and bolt.
  6. Remove the front rocker panel cladding. Refer to CLADDING REPLACEMENT - LEFT ROCKER PANEL , or to CLADDING REPLACEMENT - RIGHT ROCKER PANEL in Exterior Trim.
  7. Remove the front wheel house extension. Refer to WHEELHOUSE EXTENSION REPLACEMENT .
  8. Remove the fender to the body bolts.
  9. Remove the fender from the body.
