Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Safari and 2003 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the control module in the mounting bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the mounting screws for the control module.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the mounting screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  3. Install the electrical connectors in the control module.
  4. Install the lower dash panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - COWL SIDE in Interior Trim.

  5. Install the parking brake assembly. Refer to PARKING BRAKE PEDAL in Parking Brake.
