Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Safari and 2003 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the rear of the propeller shaft to the transfer case.
  2. Install the propeller shaft to the front axle. Line up the reference marks made previously.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the bolts tot he front axle.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
