Installation Procedure

  1. Install the vacuum tank.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the vacuum tank mounting screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (26 lb in).

  3. Install the vacuum hoses to the vacuum tank.

  4. Install the upper fan shroud. Refer to FAN SHROUD REPLACEMENT - UPPER in Engine Cooling.
  5. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to ENGINE CONTROLS - REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in Engine Controls - 4.3L.
