Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the passenger side knee bolster. Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT - RIGHT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the right cowl trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - COWL SIDE in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the vacuum hose (3) from the recirculation actuator (2).
  4. Remove the nuts that retain the recirculation actuator.
  5. Remove the recirculation actuator form the recirculation door.
