Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the IP extension. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) EXTENSION REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER REPLACEMENT in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the screws that retain the actuator (1) to the heater assembly.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
  5. Remove the air temperature actuator form the heater assembly.
