Installation Procedure

Tools Required 

J 43600  ACR 2000 Air Conditioning Service Center. See Special Tools and Equipment .

  1. Clean the valve seat area on the rear head.
  2. Lubricate the O-ring of the new pressure relief valve (5) and the O-ring assembly using new 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the new pressure relief valve (5).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the new valve to 9.0 N.m (6.1 lb ft).

  4. Evacuate and recharge the system using the J 39500-B. 
  5. Leak test the system.
