Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the Instrument panel assembly. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Remove the air temperature actuator from the heater case. Refer to AIR TEMPERATURE ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT in HVAC Systems - Manual.
  3. Remove the air temperature door (1) from the heater case.
