Installation Procedure

  1. Install the floor air outlet to the ducts to the rear seat, if equipped.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the retaining nuts to the floor outlet duct, if equipped.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the front section of the carpet, if equipped. Refer to MAT/CARPET REPLACEMENT FRONT FLOOR in Interior Trim.
  4. Install the bucket seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - BUCKET in Seats.
  5. Install the floor air outlet duct from the air distributor.
  6. Install the IP extension. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) EXTENSION REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
