Brake Pulsation

  1. Were you sent here from a Brake Symptom List? If so, go to next step. If not, go to GENERAL DIAGNOSIS (HYDRAULIC BRAKES) .
  2. Inspect the suspension system for proper operation. See appropriate SUSPENSION article. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step  6. If not, go to next step.
  3. Inspect anti-lock brake system for proper operation. See appropriate ANTI-LOCK article. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step  6. If not, go to next step.
  4. Inspect disc brake system for proper operation. See GENERAL DIAGNOSIS (DISC BRAKES) . Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step  6. If not, go to next step.
  5. Inspect hydraulic brake system for proper operation. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step  6. If not, go to HYDRAULIC BRAKES SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS .
  6. Road test vehicle in order to confirm proper operation. See BRAKE SYSTEM ROAD TEST . If condition is still present, go to step  2.
