Parking Brake Cable (Front): Installation

  1. Install cable.
  2. Route cable through the floor pan and engage the grommet.
  3. Install front cable to the parking brake pedal assembly.
  4. Install pedal assembly.
  5. Roll carpet into place.
  6. Install step trim plate.
  7. Install the cowl side panel trim.
  8. Raise vehicle.
  9. Connect the front cable to parking brake cable adjuster.
  10. Adjust parking brake system. See PARKING BRAKE  under ADJUSTMENTS.
  11. Remove safety stands and lower vehicle.
