Master Cylinder: Removal

  1. Apply parking brake and block wheels.
  2. Disconnect brake pipes from master cylinder. See Figure.
  3. Plug open brake pipe ends.
  4. Remove master cylinder nuts and bolts.
  5. Remove combination valve bracket.
  6. Remove master cylinder from vehicle.
  7. Drain master cylinder of all brake fluid.
