Brake Caliper (Front): Installation

  1. Install brake caliper to brake caliper mounting bracket.
  2. Install brake caliper mounting bolts. Tighten brake caliper mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Remove rubber cap or plug from the exposed brake hose fitting end.
  4. Assemble NEW copper brake hose gaskets and brake hose to caliper bolt to the brake hose.
  5. Install brake hose to caliper bolt to the brake caliper. Tighten to specification.
  6. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
  7. Install wheels.
  8. Lower vehicle.
  9. Fill master cylinder reservoir to proper level with clean brake fluid.
