Brake Booster: Removal

  1. Apply parking brake.
  2. Place a drain pan under the hydraulic brake booster and booster reservoir.
  3. Disconnect reservoir hose from booster.
  4. Disconnect power steering hoses from booster.
    5. NOTE: DO NOT remove brake pipes from master cylinder.
  5. Remove master cylinder nuts.
  6. Support master cylinder.
  7. Disconnect pushrod from brake pedal.
  8. Remove hydraulic booster mounting nuts from the inside of vehicle.
  9. Remove booster assembly.
  10. Remove gasket.
