Removal & Installation (Blazer & Jimmy Canadian 4-Door, Sonoma & S10 Pickup)

Raise and support vehicle. Locate EVAP canister, under left rear of vehicle. See Fig 1. Remove EVAP canister mounting bolt. See Fig 2. Disconnect vent hose from EVAP canister. Disconnect fuel tank pipe and purge pipe from EVAP canister. Remove EVAP canister. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten EVAP canister mounting bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check for leaks.
