Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shift lever seal (2) onto the shift lever assembly (4).
    NOTE:
  2. Install the shift lever assembly (4) and secure it with the shift lever screw (3).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screw to 22 N.m (29 lb in).

    IMPORTANT: The shift lever boot must be seated inside the trim covers.

  3. Slide the shift lever boot into the trim covers.
  4. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENT  .
