Rear Brake Backing Plate: Installation

  1. Install backing plate.
  2. Install backing plate bolts. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install axle shaft.
  4. Install wheel cylinder. See WHEEL CYLINDER .
  5. Install brake shoes. See REAR BRAKE SHOES .
  6. Install brake drum. See REAR BRAKE DRUM .
  7. Install wheels.
  8. Lower vehicle.
  9. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
