Drum Brake Hardware: Installation

  1. Install actuator lever and lever pivot.
  2. Install actuator lever return spring.
  3. Install hold down pins.
  4. Install hold down springs.
  5. Install brake shoe guide.
  6. Install brake shoe return springs.
  7. Install brake drum. See REAR BRAKE DRUM .
  8. Install wheels.
  9. Adjust brakes. See REAR DRUM BRAKE SHOES  under ADJUSTMENTS.
  10. Lower vehicle.
