Installation Procedure

  1. Install the knee bolster.
  2. Install the knee bolster to the instrument panel:
    1. Align the retainers.
    2. Press the panel into place.
    3. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the screws that retain the bolster to the instrument panel. Tighten:  Tighten the knee bolster screws to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  4. Install the instrument panel extension. Refer to IP Extension Replacement  .
