Ignition & Key Alarm Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle

Disable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .
Remove the wire harness assembly (4) out of the wire harness strap (5). Remove the wire harness straps (3) from the wire harness assembly (4). Remove the wire harness strap (2) from the upper tilt head assembly (1).

Slide the 2 connectors (2) off from the bulk head connector (1).

Remove the key alarm connector (1) from the electronic lock module assembly (2).
Remove the 2 tapping screws from the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (3).
Remove the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (3).
