Forward Band: Inspection

  1. Inspect forward band assembly for the following:
    • Damaged or severely worn friction material.
    • Damaged apply or anchor pin features.
  2. Inspect differential carrier internal gear thrust washer for damage. Replace components as necessary. See Figure.
