Installation Procedure

  1. Install the O-ring seal (11) to the vehicle speed sensor (10).
  2. Install the vehicle speed sensor to the extension case.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE

  3. Install the vehicle speed sensor bolt (9).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  4. Install the vehicle speed sensor wiring harness connector.

  5. Install the right engine splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT - ENGINE .
  6. Install the right front tire and wheel. TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
