Diagnostic Aids

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Saturn Vue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Condition could be caused by deployment loop high-side and low-side circuits shorted together or by a malfunctioning shorting bar on driver-side air bag module connector. With scan tool hooked up and turned on, wiggle suspect wires and watch scan tool display for current DTC to appear or disappear, indicating source of intermittent condition.

NOTE: For circuit number and wire color identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS .
