Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the right hand axle. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Front in Wheel Drive Shafts.

  3. Remove the bolts from the power take-off unit (PTU) brace and engine.
  4. Remove the brace.
