Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .

  3. Remove the screws from the outboard recliner trim panel. Remove the trim panel.

  5. Remove the screws from the inboard recliner trim panel. Remove the trim panel.

  7. Position the head restraint to the full up position.
  8. Insert an awl into the head restraint guide hole and push in on the awl while pulling up on the restraint. Remove the head restraint.

  10. On vehicles with heated seats disconnect the heated seat wire harness from the seat heat module.
  11. Remove the bolts from the front seat back frame.
  12. Remove the seat back assembly.

  14. Remove the screws from the seat back panel.
  15. Remove the seat back panel.
  16. Remove the armrest from the seat back. Refer to Armrest Replacement - Front Seat .

  18. Disconnect the lower J-hook retainer from the seat back trim cover.
  19. Pull the seat back cover upward. Carefully disengage the hook and loop fasteners until the head restraint guides are exposed.

  21. Squeeze the locking tabs on the head restraint guides and push the guides up and out of the seat back frame.
  22. Remove the seat back trim cover from the seat.
  23. Remove the seat back pad from the frame.
