Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door outer panel. Refer to Outer Door Panel Replacement Rear - Bolt On .
    2. Fig 1: Rear Door Sound Insulator

  2. Partially remove the rear door sound insulator.
    3. Fig 2: Disconnecting Outside Handle Rod From Handle Pivot

  3. Disconnect the outside handle rod from the door latch clamshell-style clip.
  4. Compress the pin on the handle pivot and remove the pivot and outside handle rod assembly.
  5. Disconnect the outside handle rod from the pivot and remove.
