Installation Procedure

- Install the heater element to the seat cushion.
- Install the seat cushion cover (1).
- Install the seat cover retainer rings (hog rings) (2).
- Install the J retainer (1) at the bottom of the seat cushion.
- Install the seat cushion to the seat back.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE . - Install the front seat recliner bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 48 N.m (35 lb ft).
- Snap the recliner covers over the recliner mechanism.
- Install the seat adjuster mechanism to the seat frame.
Refer to the appropriate sections:
- Front seat adjuster, 2-way Manual, 4-way Manual, if equipped. Refer to Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement - Manual (Two - Way Manual) or Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement - Manual (Four - Way Manual) .
- Front Seat Adjuster, 6-way Power, if equipped. Refer to Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement - Power .
- Install the front seat buckle with Pretensioner. Refer to SEAT BELT BUCKLE PRETENSIONER REPLACEMENT - LH and or SEAT BELT BUCKLE PRETENSIONER REPLACEMENT - RH .
- Install the finish covers. Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front .
- Install the cup holder, if equipped. Refer to Cupholder Replacement - Front Seat .
- Install the map pocket net, if equipped. Refer to Map Pocket Net Replacement - Front Seat .
- Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket .
