Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Montana, 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2002 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the rear seat cushion cover (1) to the foam pad.
  2. Secure the rear seat cushion cover (1) to the foam pad (3) using retainer rings (2) and the hook and loop retainers.
  3. Install the J retainers (1) to secure the seat cushion cover to the seat frame.

  4. Install the rear seat cushion to the rear seat back.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  5. Install the recliner bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 32N.m (24 lb ft).

  6. Install the rear seat adjuster. Refer to Seat Adjuster Replacement - Rear .
  7. Install the seat riser. Refer to Seat Riser Replacement - Rear .
  8. Install the finish covers. Refer to Seat Trim Replacement - Side .
  9. Install the second row 60/40 split bench seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear .
