Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the map pocket net, if equipped. Refer to Map Pocket Net Replacement - Front Seat .
  3. Remove the cup holder, if equipped. Refer to Cupholder Replacement - Front Seat .
  4. Remove the finish covers. Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front .

  5. Remove the front seat buckle with pretensioner. Refer to SEAT BELT BUCKLE PRETENSIONER REPLACEMENT - L or SEAT BELT BUCKLE PRETENSIONER REPLACEMENT - R .
  6. Remove the seat adjuster mechanism from the seat frame.

    Refer to the appropriate sections:

  7. Unsnap the recliner covers starting with the rear portion of the cover.
  8. Remove the recliner bolts.
  9. Separate the seat cushion from the seat back.
  10. Remove the J retainer (1) from the bottom of the seat cushion.

  11. Remove the seat cover retainer rings (hog rings) (2).
  12. Remove the seat cushion cover (1).
