Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Montana, 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2002 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the rear seat back pad to the seat back frame.
  2. Install the rear seat back cover over the foam pad.
  3. Secure the rear seat back cover to the foam pad using retainer rings and the hook and loop retainers (1).

  4. Install the rear seat back to the rear seat cushion.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  5. Install the recliner bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the recliner bolts to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).

  6. Install the rear seat back foam and cover over the recliner bolts.
  7. Install the rear seat back recliner cover. Refer to Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement - Rear .

  8. Install the seat back cover retainer (1) at the bottom of the rear seat back cover.
  9. Install the rear seat back finish panel. Refer to Seat Back Filler Panel Replacement - Rear .
  10. Install the head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Rear Seat .
  11. Install the third row 50/50 split bench seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear .
