Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the knee bolster from the IP. Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT .
  2. Disconnect the mode actuator electrical connector.

  3. Open the push rod retainer clip.
  4. Disconnect the push rod (3) from the retainer clip.

  5. Remove the mode actuator retaining screws.
  6. Remove the mode actuator.
  7. Disconnect the push rod from the mode actuator.
