Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shoulder belt guide adjuster bracket (1) to the B-pillar (2).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Use the J 29843-9  in order to install the bolts (3) to the shoulder belt guide adjuster bracket (1).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the front shoulder belt guide adjuster bracket bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - UPPER PILLAR .
  4. Install the nut securing the upper guide loop anchor nut.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the front seat belt upper guide loop anchor nut to 29 N.m (21 lb ft).

  5. Install the plastic cover to the shoulder belt guide.
