Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Montana, 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2002 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the center belts (1) to the seat.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the bolts (3) securing the center belts to the seat cushion frame.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the rear seat center belt bolts to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).

  3. Install the seat cushion cover retainers (2) to the bottom of the seat frame.
  4. Install the rear seat riser. Refer to SEAT RISER REPLACEMENT - REAR .
  5. Install the recliner trim cover. Refer to SEAT BACK RECLINER COVER REPLACEMENT - REAR .
  6. Install the rear seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR .
