Diagnostic Aids

Inspect for a short to voltage or a short to ground in the seat belt indicator supply circuit circuit.
Inspect for an internal short to voltage or a short to ground within the IPC.

Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

5. This step tests to see if there is a short to voltage in the seat belt indicator supply voltage circuit
7. This step tests to see if there is no open, high resistance, or a short to ground in the seat belt indicator supply voltage circuit
