Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
  2. Reposition the hose clamp at the radiator using the J 38185. 
  3. Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
  4. Reposition the hose clamp at the thermostat housing using the J 38185. 
  5. Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the thermostat housing.
  6. Remove the radiator inlet hose.
