Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Drain the engine cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
  4. Remove the right front wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Remove the right engine splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT - ENGINE .
  6. Remove the engine coolant heater cord from the engine coolant heater.
  7. Loosen the coolant heater bolt/screw.

  8. Remove the coolant heater.
