The AWD Disable indicator lamp is located in the instrument cluster. Ignition 1 voltage is supplied to the I PC when the ignition switch is in the START or RUN position. When the PCM receives a signal from the differential clutch pump actuator check valve indicating an overtemp condition or a signal from the ABS controller indicating a speed differential between wheels, the AWD system will be disabled. The PCM will then send a class 2 signal to the instrument cluster turning on the AWD Disable indicator.
