Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Buick Regal and 2003 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the rubber conduit. Refer to RUBBER CONDUIT REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR  .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR  .
  4. Remove the rear door inner sealing strip. Refer to SEALING STRIP REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR WINDOW BELT INNER  .
  5. Remove the rear door outer sealing strip. Refer to SEALING STRIP REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR WINDOW BELT OUTER  .
  6. Remove the stationary window molding.
  7. Remove the rear door frame molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR FRAME  .
  8. Remove the window. Refer to WINDOW REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR  .
  9. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to DOOR HANDLE REPLACEMENT - REAR OUTSIDE  .
  10. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to DOOR HANDLE REPLACEMENT - REAR INSIDE  .
  11. Remove the lock. Refer to LOCK REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR  .
  12. Remove the door window weatherstrip. Refer to WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR WINDOW  .
  13. Remove the window regulator. Refer to WINDOW REGULATOR REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR  .
  14. Disconnect the wiring harness.
  15. Support the door.
  16. Remove the intermediate door hinge bolts (1).

  17. Remove the door.
