Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (2.2L): Removal

  1. Disconnect Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor connector. Loosen clamp at air cleaner assembly. Remove push-pin attachment from outlet resonator/duct assembly to support bracket. Loosen clamp at throttle body assembly. Disconnect the PCV fresh air vent hose at cam cover.
  2. Remove outlet resonator/duct assembly. Disconnect MAP sensor electrical connector. See Figure . Remove MAP sensor and the MAP sensor port seal if it is still retained in the intake manifold.
