Removal Procedure

  1. Open the lift gate.
  2. Remove the rear bumper fascia splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Rear Bumper Fascia .
  3. Use the J 38778  in order to remove the push-in retainers from the upper and lower rear bumper fascia.
  4. Remove the screws at the right and left wheel well from the rear bumper fascia.
  5. Remove the paint from the rear bumper fascia outer retainer.
  6. Remove the rear bumper fascia from the vehicle.
