Installation Procedure

  1. Align the rear bumper fascia to the rear bumper fascia outer support.

  2. Align the rear bumper fascia outer retainer to the body.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the palnut to the rear bumper fascia outer retainer.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the palnut to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the screws at the right and left wheel well to the rear bumper fascia.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (26 lb in).

  5. Install the push-in retainers to the upper and lower rear bumper fascia.
  6. Install the rear bumper fascia splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Rear Bumper Fascia .
  7. Close the lift gate.
