Removal Procedure

  1. Use a heat gun to heat the rear bumper fascia reflectors. Hold the heat gun 152 mm (6 in) from the surface.
  2. Use a circular motion for 30 seconds when applying heat to the surface.

    Important:  Be careful not to scratch paint with the flat-bladed tool.

  3. Use a flat-bladed tool to peel the rear bumper fascia reflectors from the rear bumper fascia surface.
  4. Use a lint free cloth and Varnish Makers and Painters (VMP) naphtha or a 50/50 mixture by volume of isopropyl alcohol and water to clean the area.
