Installation Procedure

  1. Align the rear energy absorber to the rear bumper fascia and push in to lock into place.
  2. Install the rear object sensor wiring harness to the rear energy absorber, if equipped.
  3. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper (Oldsmobile)  or Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper (Pontiac) .
